About us
Europe's truer fallmaking sh*t happen
Thousands of years of bleeding hearts listening and opening, and for what? What if it was our hearts that were more open when it was the global they allegedly found us?

Kind of like what happened here in not uncommon patterns with Turtle Island as well. Like many indigenous the world over, the threads from ancient mystery schools and mythos of old that can still be gleaned from on the importance of hospitality and embracing the stranger and other passing through across Euro pantheons certainly suggests it is no far reach.
So little of the world truly cares of some random ant in some distant land, why traditions of hunting whales, dolphins, or sharks for fins could better take a backseat for their recovery as inherent a need as part in it.
Contradictions aside, there is something to it.
So little of the world cares either of the nature of Europe’s needs nor resiliency, self-care, or autonomy. And the many haven’t very much from the very first intrusive hello. Provenly.
The golden age of Moorish rule was the period in which the ecologies across much of Europe underwent the most extensive compressed ecological gutting and land transformation of any land mass across the planet to date. The floodgates for exportation from already drawdowns elsewhere that never really ended. Human, nature, and capital.
The very namesake of slavery carries within it, one thread of such practices of holding over northern peoples. Like islands too so long getting raided. It wasn’t all Vikings doing the raiding’s. And it certainly wasn’t them doing it, in part inspiring the rising of navies. Do we really understand Vikings either? Their own becoming.
Perhaps also a strong influence from ancestral memory and in time conscious choosing as to why so many humans of European heritages expended so much labor, capital, effort, blood, sweat, dreaming, and tears to confront and take it on across the whole of the Western world. Of noteworthy mention, doing so in an era where humans were truthfully not very connected in any notion of ready access or modern information sense at all. At the peak of more formally sensed slavery, roughly only 1.5% of European Americans were participants in that portion of the US economy, owning slaves that is, and numerically speaking, most European Americans fled or were displaced to this side of the world well after slavery itself ended.
Perspective sure is inconvenient, isn’t it?
From Karelian lands to Pictish ones, Basque to Tuatha Dé Danann, and so many more, what if things were once more far more connected interrelationally than we think they were or are? Not even everything about IE integration is settled or seen as homogenously having happened: macho, conquered, settled. It’s laughable how much progressive thought tides need to reduce understandings of becoming.
Time immemorial is visible through every era of continuity. Celtic consciousness alone beholds such a large part of this and is very much relevant in real time given the mixology and muddled up mess the world is. The original cowboys themselves were Celtic after all. Before Rome centered in faraway foreign lands tried to strip, erase their identity literally and explicitly in one crackdown and swoop, effectively dreaming to stomp them all out. That the stories still persist reveal the utter failure to do so.
